Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2026

How it works

First to fourth enter the Libertadores group stage and fifth its preliminary phase; the next six enter the Copa Sudamericana; the bottom four go down (CBF regulation 2026, Arts. 6-8). The Copa do Brasil winner also enters the Libertadores, and a place freed by a double qualification passes to the next club, so the lines can move down.

Leads to: Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.

Table order used here: points → wins → goal difference → goals scored. Level on points the Brasileirao looks at WINS first, then goal difference, then goals scored (CBF competition regulation 2026, Art. 15). The later steps - head-to-head between two clubs, fewest red cards, fewest yellow cards, drawing of lots - are not computed here.
